Practice Overview

We treat women (and pregnant individuals) from 18-45 years old during pregnancy, breastfeeding and beyond who are suffering from:

Anxiety
Depression
Bipolar disorder
OCD
Postpartum depression and anxiety
Postpartum psychosis

ADHD

Although we understand that there is a severe shortage of psychiatric providers,  Dr. Davies specializes in the treatment of women and birthing individuals. We unfortunately do not offer treatment for men at this time. 

• Medication Management for women from 18-45 
• Medication Management for pregnant and breastfeeding individuals
• Preconception or pregnancy consultation for patients followed by another physician. Dr. Davies can provide recommendations for medications and management of mental health conditions in pregnancy

Dr. Davies is trained in multiple types of psychotherapy, and is able to draw from all of them to create a treatment plan including:

• Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
• Supportive Psychotherapy
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

All visits are now by tele-health using HIPAA compliant video platform 

Although psychiatrists are trained to treat the full spectrum of mental health conditions, in our practice we are not equipped to care for patients with certain mental health conditions who would be better served in a clinic with more comprehensive services or by a practitioner with different expertise. Some conditions that we do not treat include:

• substance abuse, dementia, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, crisis management, eating disorders, recurring suicidal thoughts or self-harm attempts
